April 20, 2012 Despite the fact team officials would neither confirm nor deny the report, according to ESPN, "a league source" says the Colts have already informed former Standford quarterback, Andrew Luck, that he will be their choice as the first overall pick in the draft when it begins next Thursday.
While team officials haven't commented, a story from Profootballtalk.com today says that Colts owner Jim Irsay has "essentially confirmed" the report

I'm not going to lie, it makes me a little nauseous just writing the headline, but after giving it some thought, I've come to the realization that if there ever was a time for the Colts to move on from the man who made them relevant, that time is now. It's a thought I'm OK with that and one I think other Colts fans should be OK with as well.
