It wasn’t terribly surprising that FOX would say goodbye to American Idol after so many years, but word that NBC might look to revive it alongside The Voice came more unexpectedly. Now, FOX is reportedly bidding for the rights to bring American Idol back on its own, almost exactly as we remember it.
It's kind of hard to believe, but last night "American Idol" presented their (so-called) very last performance show ever! And tonight is supposedly the very last episode of the American television institution that is "American Idol!" Here is what I thought about last night's performances:

Last night, judges Keith, Jennifer, and Harry made the final save in all of "American Idol" history narrowing the field of competition from six to five as we enter the last MONTH EVER for the once seemingly unstoppable music/competition show franchise.
I can't get over the fact that after FIFTEEN years of television dominance and (usually) immeasurable popularity, American Idol is down to its final FOUR episodes EVER! Nevertheless, the field of eight contestants was narrowed down to just six last night as Idol enters its final month.
