Suspicious Package Found at Evansville 1st Ave Post Office UPDATE

According to 44News, a suspicious package has been found at the Evansville Post Office located at 1st Avenue and Diamond. Naturally, this would be the post office closest to where I live. The Evansville Police Department are on the scene and treating this like a real threat. Along with the package, there was also a letter addressed to the post master. The post office location is understandably closed for the time being.

UPDATE:

According to several news outlets, the device was safely detonated without incident. The post office (and the streets around it) will reopen shortly.
