This weekend, Apr. 20-22, STAGEtwo Productions will be presenting the show Present Laughter. This is a hilarious comedy that the cast and crew have worked incredibly hard on this show and it's going to be great. Here's a synopsis of the show:

At the center of his own universe sits matinee idol Gary Essendine: suave, hedonistic, and too old, says his wife, to be having numerous affairs. His line of harmless, infatuated debutantes is largely tolerated but playing closer to home is not. Just before he escapes on tour to Africa the full extent of his misdemeanors is discovered and all hell breaks loose. Noel Coward's Present Laughter premiered in the early years of the Second World War just as such privileged lives were threatened with fundamental social change.

The show will be playing at Preservation Hall in Newburgh. Showtimes for Friday and Saturday are at 7:30pm with a Sunday matinee at 2:30pm. Tickets are $12 at the door. You can get more info here.
