Ahhh, Springtime. The temperature is on the rise, the leaves are beginning to return to the trees, the birds are chirping, and the flowers are starting to bloom again. More importantly, it won't be dark at 5:00 or 5:30 p.m. thanks to Daylight Savings Time which kicks in at 2:00 a.m. this Sunday morning!

As someone who works until 7:00 p.m. in the evening Monday through Friday, there are few things I dislike more than seeing the sun start going down at 4:30 in the afternoon when we fall back in November. Fortunately the window of time we have to deal with less sun was shortened a few years back, lasting only about four months instead of the nearly five it once did.

In this day and age, most of your clocks will likely adjust themselves while you sleep if they're connected to the internet in any way (phones, tablets, cable/satellite TV receivers, etc.). However, unless you have a smart oven, microwave, or alarm clock, you'll likely have to handle that manually before you go to bed Saturday night.
