Few foods warm the body on a chilly Winter's day like a big bowl of meaty chili. The thicker and spicer, the better in my opinion. Your opportunity to get your fill and raise your temperature a few degrees while helping the Children's Museum of Evansville (cMoe) is coming up this Saturday during the 3rd annual Wayne Fiester Memorial Chili Cook-off presented by the Historic Newburgh Kiwanis Society.

The cook-off takes place from 5pm to 8pm this Saturday at the Castle High School Cafeteria with proceeds benefiting cMoe. Admission is free but a donation of your choice can be made at the door and to vote for the People’s Choice Award. The evening will also feature the Old Dam Band.

Any and all proceeds raised will go towards cMoe’s Helping Hands Scholarship Fund that provides scholarships to schools and organizations that serve economically disadvantaged children.
