Last week's devastating round of tornadoes in Kokomo, Indiana destroyed more than 350 homes, leaving families in the area to pick up the pieces. The American Red Cross of Southwestern Indiana is asking for your help so these families can begin to put their lives back together.

On Wednesday, 106-1 KISS-FM, along with our Townsquare Media sister-stations in Evansville and other media outlets, are partnering with the Red Cross to host a 12-and-a-half hour telethon to raise money for the relief effort.

From 6:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m., volunteers will man a phone bank at the Red Cross headquarters on the corner of Stockwell Road and the Lloyd Expressway on Evansville's east side to take your monetary donations.

If you're interested in contributing, call 812-471-7200 any time during those hours to make a donation.

Donations will also be accepted online through the Red Cross website.

A portion of the proceeds collected over the course of the telethon will also benefit recent flood victims in Louisiana.

We know Evansville has a big heart, so let's show our neighbors to the north and south how much we care!
