Sometimes you don't have to spend a dime to give a great gift.

For at least a good portion of his life, Danny Hamilton's dad was hard of hearing. Then he got hearing aids, which apparently wasn't just a life-altering event for him, but Danny as well. The days of cranking up the stereo because he knew it wouldn't bother dad's ears were gone. Claiming he told his dad something he didn't and blaming it on his dad's poor hearing, also over.

But Danny took it in stride, obviously happy for his dad, and glad that he can enjoy sound at levels the rest of us have enjoyed our whole lives. To celebrate dad's new found hearing, and the subsequent loss of the privileges he enjoyed because of it, Danny wrote a tongue-in-cheek song called, 'I Liked You Better Deaf'. Check it out below.
