Sia Releases Behind-the-Scenes Footage of Controversial Video ‘Elastic Heart’

Just a few weeks ago I posted about Sia's video for her song 'Elastic Heart' the video starred Maddie Ziegler and Shia LaBeouf.  Maddie is the same girl who performed in one of the most popular music videos of 2014 Sia's 'Chandelier.'

When 'Elastic Heart' was released I thought the video was brilliant.  I'm not a super "artsy" kinda person, but I really liked the video.  It's one of the few music videos that I like the music video as much as I like the song.  Shia and Maddie dance in a cage together, and I thought it was amazing.  However Sia got a TON of criticism from people saying the video had a very "pedophile" kinda feel since Shia is so much older than Maddie.  Personally I didn't think a single thing in the music video for 'Elastic Heart' seemed sexual at all.

So Sia has now released a behind the scenes look at the controversial video, and even kinda dives into what the meaning behind the two characters in the cage are.  I think it's brilliant ( I can't say that enough!) and GOOD NEWS for us Sia fans,this is the second music video in a trilogy! Sia and everyone loved working on 'Chandelier' and 'Elastic Heart' so much that we can expect a 3rd video from her and the same team! I can't wait!
