Showplace Cinemas Bringing Bowling and Laser Tag to Newburgh Theater!

If going to see a movie isn't enough of a night out for you, Showplace Cinemas is bringing bowling and laser tag to their Newburgh location!

According to the Courier and Press, the Newburgh theater will expand in order to accommodate 20 bowling lanes, 60 new arcade machines, and a laser tag arena.

The expansion should be done by September 2017 and will create about 100 new jobs. This continues Showplace Cinemas trend of innovation, after bringing an IMAX to Evansville in the mid-2000's and opening the Royal Suite in 2015. Hopefully the bowling alley is far enough away from the movies. I'd hate to ruin someone's night with my terribly inaccurate (and loud) bowling game.
