Should This Teacher Have Been Fired[POLL]

This morning Kat brought up a news story out of Chicago in which a teacher got terminated.  Independently of school, he authored and released a book titled "It's Her Fault."  It's a blue-collar look at relationships, including some crude language, opinions, and material.  Some people feel that his termination violates his civil liberties.  Others feel that his conduct outside of work can effect his employment as  a teacher.  What do you think?  Should this teacher have been fired?
