After his firing, the case has banded together.

Over a week ago, Guardians of the Galaxy director, James Gunn, was fired by Disney after tweets surfaced from years ago that joked about some pretty gross things. The tweets are in no-way defensible and Disney was quick to decide it was time for him to go.

However, several arguments have been made that he is being fired for who he used to be and not who he is now. Sharing this sentiment, is the entire cast of the GOTG movies, who today, lead by Chris Pratt, released an open-letter discussing the situation:
