A week ago, we were dealing with snow, ice, and consistent below freezing temperatures. This week we're looking at above-average temps, and the chance for a round of severe storms. Yep, just another week in the Tri-State.

A hazardous weather statement released by the National Weather Service out of Paducah, Kentucky states that area in red pictured above (a.k.a. "us") will see thunderstorms roll in Wednesday night into Thursday with severe storms possible anytime Thursday, however they feel the best chance will come late Thursday afternoon into Thursday evening.

The biggest threat with those storms will be damaging winds, although large hail and tornadoes are possible as well. If that's not enough for you, the amount of rain we receive could result in localized flooding in parts of the area. YAY Tri-State weather!
