When I go to the movies, grabbing a popcorn to enjoy during the show is a must. And since many theaters now allow you to add your own butter and salt, I usually walk out of the theater with grease stains on my pants from the ridiculous amount of fake-butter-concoction I pour into the bag.

More impressive than the taste of popcorn, is how it forms. Think about it, a tiny, hard corn kernel literally explodes into a soft, pillowy nugget of goodness. Without the aid of slow motion, the kernels appear simply pop, which they do, but thanks to slow motion video, you can see that what actually happens is the shell splits and peels back as the inside transforms into the delicious treat we all know and love.
