On the heels of the announcement Wasabi is coming to The Promenade on Burkhardt Road comes the announcement that Señor Tequila's Mexican Grill has acquired a location on 4th Street in downtown Evansville.

The Evansville 411 Facebook page was the first to report the new restaurant will occupy the space formerly held by Eclipse Tapas Bar at 113 4th Street. The store front is just a couple of doors down from the old Siegel's uniform store which Evansville 411 reported earlier this week had been visited by representatives of The Old Spaghetti Factory.

Whether or not this location is associated with the chain of Señor Tequila's in Florida and the northeast portion of the U.S. is unknown at this time, as is the planned opening date.

The restaurant will find itself in an area that is well represented by Mexican cuisine between Los Bravos, El Charro, Herradura, El Patron, Moe's Southwest Grill, Chipotle, Qdoba, the newly opened Salsarita's, and several others that have been established in the city for a number of years.
