From political rallies in downtown Evansville, to the Pokemon Go craze gripping the Tri-State, and the creepy clown epidemic making it's way into our backyards (quite literally in some cases), 2016 certainly was an interesting year around here, and we captured as much of it as we could on video!

Check out five of our most viewed videos of 2016 below for the first time, or for the 10th!

1. Gavin's Magic Power

Back in November, Gavin learned of a Harry Potter-themed trick for Android phones that turns on the flash by speaking a certain spell.

2. Creepy Clown Invasion

Back in October, people decided it would be "fun" to creep other people out by dressing in scary clown outfits and stalk the streets of towns across the country. It wasn't long before a few copycats in the Evansville area decided to join in.

3. Mr. Trump Comes to Evansville

Indiana is usually ignored during state primary season due to the state's consistent "red state" status, and each party's candidate pretty well decided by the time our primary rolls around in May. However, this election cycle was far from usual with the Republican nomination still very much up for grabs when it came time for Hoosiers to cast their votes. In an effort to sway people his way, Donald Trump held a rally at the Center in downtown Evansville in late-April. So we sent Gavin down there to get the pulse of the people.

4. Pokemon Go Mania Grips the Tri-State

Arguably one of the biggest apps of the year was Pokemon Go. The mobile app based on the popular Pokemon trading card game. Our resident Poke-Hunters, Rob, Kat, and Gavin took to the streets of downtown Evansville one summer day to see if they could "catch 'em all."

5. Hodor the Door

Game of Thrones fans around the world were smacked up-side the head with a big, heavy bag of emotion earlier this year when one of the series' most popular characters, Hodor, met his demise. To say Gavin didn't take it well would be a gross understatement.
