The slow overtaking of my front yard continues.

If you're not familiar with the story, a unintentional pumpkin patch has been growing in the landscaping in front of our house thanks to us haphazardly kicking last year's Halloween pumpkins into it when they began to rot.

How the seeds from those pumpkins lasted through the 25-below wind chills we experienced from time to time over the winter, I'll never know. But they obviously did, and now I have this.

If it were up to me, I would have destroyed the darn thing when it first sprouted, but my kids are fascinated by it, which makes my opinion irrelevant.
