Routine Traffic Stop Turns Into Wild Chase That Will Leave You Stunned [VIDEO]

Honestly, I'm not quite sure where to begin with this video. I'm still a little shocked myself.

Basically, a state trooper pulls over a minivan containing a mother and her children (as young as 6) inside. For some reason, the mother decides to disobey the cops orders, and tries to just drive off during the traffic stop. From there, things just keep getting worse. Take a look for yourself...

After watching the video several times, I'm pretty sure both parties are in the wrong at some point here. Disobeying a cop is a good way to get yourself arrested, but shooting at a minivan full of kids probably isn't necessary. What do you think of the situation? Was the mother doing what was best for her children by driving away?
