I don't talk politics often, mainly because I don't follow them close enough to effectively argue a point, but also because I don't believe the words any of them spew from their lips regardless of party affiliation. One of the few times I do enjoy politics is when someone is poking fun at them, which is why I enjoy shows like The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report along with videos like the one's put together by the crew at badlipreading.com.

Initially working their magic on such music videos as Michael Buble's "Haven't Met You Yet" and the Justin Bieber / Rascal Flatts collaboration, "That Should Be Me", they've turned their attention to politicians on both sides of the proverbial aisle, most recently former Massachusetts governor and serious contender for the Republican nomination, Mitt Romney.

Obviously, that's not Mitt Romney's actual voice, but I have no idea how they pull it off. Maybe it's as simple as listening to the original audio and coming up with nonsense words and phrases that will make it appear that the person being lampooned is actually uttering them. Or possibly it's far more complicated than that, like I said, I have no idea how they do it. All I know it's that it's laugh out loud funny.

Here's another video showcasing their talents. This time, Texas governor Rick Perry is the target.

And just to fair so I don't get a ton of e-mails claiming I'm some left-wing, tree hugging hippy, here's they are giving President Obama the bad lip reading treatment (possibly not safe for work or children)
