The holidays are a double-edged sword for the American Red Cross. The need for blood increases while the number of donors decreases as people focus on their holiday plans. In an effort to make to sure their supply is ready for whatever the holiday season throws at them, the Southwestern Indiana Chapter of the Red Cross will be staging several blood drives across the tri-state from December 1st - 15th.

Giving blood is easy and outside of the initial stick of the needle, relatively pain-free. Plus it only takes about 30-45 minutes out of your day, a small price to pay for the opportunity at saving someone else's life.

OK, enough with the guilt trip. Here's the list of upcoming drives in Indiana and Kentucky if you're interested in making a donation.

In case you're not sure where these locations are, I've provided a Google Map link for each one. Just click the address to see it, you're welcome.
