Recycle Old Computers and More at Electronics Recycling Day This Saturday

Have an old laptop or desktop computer taking up space in a closet? Or maybe you finally upgraded to an HDTV and need to get rid of that bulky old television. Whatever the situation, your chance to get rid of whatever is cluttering up your home is coming up this Saturday.

The annual Electronics Recycling Day is open to Vanderburgh County residents only and will take place from 8am-12pm in the Civic Center parking lot at the corner of 9th and Walnut in downtown Evansville.

Representatives from C & I Electronics will be on hand accepting the following electronic items for recycling:

• Tablets
• Cell Phones
• Video Game Systems
• Stereos
• Stereo Equipment
• Telephones
• Printers
• Scanners
• Fax Machines
• VCR/CD/DVD Players
• Digital Cameras
• Turntables
• UPS Equipment
• Routers
• Floppy Discs, CDs, DVDs
• Keyboards and Mice

While it may seem they'll take practically anything, there are several items you won't be able to bring, including:
