Back in early '80's, rap music was a relatively new genre to the mainstream public. Fortunately, this old television show took it upon themselves to help explain it to the rest of us by using people that probably knew the least about it...middle-class white kids.

Hosted by a guy who looked like a poor man's version of Don Johnson in Miami Vice, the show does it's best to explain one of the "hottest, hottest, hottest items these days" by providing examples of rap artists (Run DMC and the Beastie Boys) as well as an example of how rap is performed using four young boys dressed in sweaters (hardcore!). Think about it, if these young, forward-thinking individuals had never given us this eye-opening education, then we may have never been able to enjoy this...
