The world seems to be a really nasty place these days, so we teamed up with the United Way to try and make it better one Random Act of Kindness at a time.

When every headline in the news seemingly refers to a shooting, or people being downright hateful to each other for no other reason than a difference of opinion, it's easy to put your guard up and just assume every one is out to get every one else.

What if instead, we did something nice for someone regardless of their political or religious beliefs, the economic status, or the color of the skin. Imagine how much better the world would be. Hate breeds hate, so let's let love breed some love. Next time you're at the coffee shop or a restaurant, pick up the tab of the person behind you. Help an senior citizen across the street if they need it, or whatever. Hopefully they'll return the favor to another total stranger. We could all use a pick-me-up from time to time, so let's be the one who starts it.
