Posey County Pound Puppies Hosting Car Wash This Saturday

Is your vehicle looking a little dingy from the dust and dirt kicked up by the summer heat? Let someone else shine it up while you help out a great cause! The Posey County Pound Puppies Shelter out of Mt. Vernon will host a car wash this Saturday in the Pep Boys parking lot on Metro Avenue just off the Lloyd on Evansville's east side to help raise money they need to cover the increasing cost of care for the homeless animals they take in. Volunteers will be on hand beginning at 10am eagerly waiting to hand wash your car for a donation to the shelter. Additionally, they will be selling PCPP t-shirts, along with burgers, veggie patties, and veggie dogs! A bake sale featuring home made pet treats will also take place with 100% of all funds raised going back to the completely volunteer shelter.
