Pet Food Center will make a cash donation and set up cash and food donation points in all area stores to assist PC Pound Puppies in caring for 72 rescued dogs.

Pet Food Center is taking an active role in assisting PC Pound Puppies, one of its area adoption partners, with the needed care for 72 abused dogs recently rescued from a Posey County home.  Dubbed “Save the 72”, the campaign will raise money for needed care and supplies for the animals.

Pet Food Center will set up cash and food donation points at four of its area locations (2334 W. Franklin St.,  4036 N 1st Ave,  2920 N. Green River Rd,, and 603 W. Main St. in Newburgh).  All cash and food donations will go directly to PC Pound Puppies specifically for the care of the 72 rescued dogs.

In addition, any Pet Food Center dog food purchase that is then donated will result in Pet Food Center donating an additional 10% in cash toward the dogs’ care.
