Random acts of kindness seem to be a rare thing these days. So when we finally do see someone that helps a stranger out just because they can, it helps restore our faith in humanity. I found a video that has been going viral, that did just that. The security footage from a McDonald's shows a police officer that offered to pay for a young boys snack, since he was a little short on change. Somewhere during the short conversation, the officer made quite the impression on the young boy. Minutes later, that same police officer was killed on duty.

The video explains the young boys emotion and appreciation towards that officer way better than I could ever describe, so it definitely worth taking a look at. But I will say that it is nice to see something go 'viral' that may actually effect it's viewers in a positive way by showing how much a small act of kindness can mean to someone.
