Olympic Heartthrob Ryan Lochte’s Mom Dishes on His Dating Life!

I've never been one to get super into the Olympics. They just never really caught too much of my attention. I mean sure if they were on, and it was a sport I found interesting to watch like gymnastics, ice skating, or even curling (mainly because I'm not even sure curling is a real sport, and I kind of think it's funny to watch)I'd watch it.  But this year thanks to Michael Phelps, and his good looking (oh so good looking) teammate Ryan Lochte I've all of a sudden taken up a very big interest in swimming.

I kept hearing people talking about Ryan Lochte and they were calling him the "heartthrob of the 2012 Summer Games"  I have also heard him referred to as the "Justin Bieber of the Olympics", and I can see why, he is kind of a total babe.  So now that I know why there is so much hype around Ryan Lochte.  And now thanks to Ryan's mom, she spilled the beans on his dating life!So if you were hoping to get a piece of this Olympic hottie, there's something you may want to take into consideration.

Ryan's mom, Ike was talking about his dating life in an interview with "Today" and she claims that Ryan doesn't  have time for a relationship and that he may be the "hit 'em and quit 'em" kind of guy.  "He goes out on one-night stands," Ike said during an interview. "He's not able to give fully to a relationship because he's always on the go."  Well I can say that I'm not shocked about the fact that he can't give fully to a relationship.  I mean he is an Olympic athlete, and probably trains like 24/7 so I'm not surprised that he doesn't really have time for a relationship

However now there's a lot of buzz going around since his mom used the phrase "one night stand" .  Here's what I personally think, either they have a very, very close relationship and she knows a bit too much about her sons love life.  Or what I really think is that his mom has tried to use "hip" lingo, and kind of used it in the wrong context.  I'm thinking she probably meant Ryan goes on a lot of dates, but never really pursues a relationship (and can you blame him?  I'm sure he has like no spare time between competing and training).  The reason I think that's probably what she meant is because who really talks about their kids like that? Plus what guy tells his mom all about his, um personal encounters? However don't freak too much, if you've already got Ryan and your future kids names picked out his mom did say in the interview that one day he would like to settle down and get married

So in the end all is right with the world.
