Yesterday I participated in the Evansville Die-In Protest over at Haynie's Corner were we laid on the ground in silence for 16 minutes but I guess the organizers and other participants didn't take into account the concrete in the summertime get REAL HOT!

You could hear people immediately start making hissing and groaning noises as their exposed skin made contact with the sizzling concrete. Good thing in was after 6pm and sun had started to set but that ground was still hot enough to fry bologna! Glad I had my white towel and a bottle of water with me. Next time can we pass out some mats to lay on?
