The new Hollywood craze is to be asked to the Marine Corps Ball. Stars such as Betty White, Miley Cyrus, and Linda Hamilton have been invited (or invited themselves) to the ball. Well, we finally have our first "no". According to Yahoo.com, Scarlett Johansson has declined the most recent celebrity invite to the Marine Corps Ball on November 10th since she will be in Europe shooting a film.

Sgt. Dustin Williams posted a video (Watch it HERE) last week asking Johansson to be his date. Sgt. Williams will instead receive a bottle of champagne from Johansson.

Johansson says

I feel incredibly honored to have been invited to the Marine Corps Ball by Sgt. Dustin L. Williams. Not only does Sgt. Williams deserve recognition for his bravery, selflessness and dedication to the United States and its people, but he also displays a cheeky talent for film making. Sgt. Williams, unfortunately due to prior commitments I will not be able to attend the Ball with you this year but I am sending you a case of Moet and Chandon with gratitude. In my absence, I raise a glass to you and all the men and women of the U.S. Marine Corps, past and present, in thanks for your continued commitment to preserving the safety of our nation.

Other stars who have accepted their invites so far have been "Friends with Benefits" stars Justin Timeberlake and Mila Kunis. Who will be the next big name celebrity to be asked or declined?
