I knew there was a reason I've never flown in one of these things.

I don't fly often, but when I do it's in an airplane. I am — the most mundane man in the world (see what I did there?).

Anyway, a pilot for a Los Angeles news helicopter had to make an emergency landing in a parking lot when during his routine flyover of the area, smoke started billowing out of the engine. Surprisingly, instead of soiling himself and screaming for his mother like I would have done, he kept his cool and was able to safely guide the aircraft to the ground without damaging any property or himself. Fortunately, one of the rival TV stations was there to catch it all on film. Somebody's never going to hear the end of this.
