The first installment stars The Avengers director Joss Whedon.

The series is called "Written by a Kid" and features creators and hosts, Will Bowles and Josh Flaum sitting in a room helping a child tell a story by asking questions. They then bring the story to life with the help of a few Hollywood friends.

Executive Producer, Kim Evey explains the inspiration behind the series in a video titled, "About Written by a Kid",

It's very, very inspiring to listen to kids create because they don't get embarrassed about thoughts that they have and they don't shut down. They just sort of, you know, if they completely contradict themselves, they just integrate it or they don't care... and that's what makes them brilliant.

Brilliant indeed.

Check out "Scary Smash" which features not only Whedon in the starring role, but also TV star, Dave Foley (Kids in the Hall, News Radio) as a milk man who has a really bad day.
