New Chanel Ad Featuring Brad Pitt Confuses People

Chanel came out with an ad promoting their famous fragrance Chanel No. 5. Well of course to sell it, there's no better spokesperson than Brad Pitt, he's a total babe! But once you get past how hot he looks you realize....he isn't making any sense.

I first saw this ad on Youtube yesterday, I was watching a video and the ad beforehand was this Chanel ad. Now normally when an ad plays before a video they give you a little "skip ad" button at the bottom, and after the ad plays for 5 seconds, you can skip it. Normally I don't even give the ad a look, I just click "skip" well when I saw Brad Pitt and how serious he was I couldn't look away. I had to watch it twice before I even realized what he was saying...and none of it makes any sense.

The ad was put up on youtube by Chanel 2 days ago and already has over 2 million views. I'm assuming people are either just watching it to see Brad Pitts hotness going on up on the screen, or they are watching it several times to try to understand it. Judging by the comments on the YouTube video, it's the latter.

You can watch the ad for yourself, and see if it confuses you too. I kind of feel like they just took a bunch of "deep" words together to try to make it sound deep and thought provoking, but it just comes off as awkward. And upon watching this like 10 times to try to make sense of it, I realized Brad Pitt almost looks like he has trouble keeping a straight face. What do you think?
