YAY! More beer! Myriad Brewing Company is coming to Downtown Evansville!

The brewery is moving into the McCurdy Building on SE First Street. Fun fact: the space was once an upscale bar called "The Coral Room". According to Myriad's Facebook, in 1935 the Coral Room opened in the Hotel McCurdy and featured a circular bar. The bar will feature much of the original architectural beauty from 1935, giving it a very cool, vintage feel.

Myriad's owners are Evansville natives who just celebrated their third wedding anniversary. Together they have five years of experience working at and managing breweries. The Head Brewer, Max King, has over 5 years of professional brewing experience and has brewed several award winning beers.

The taproom is scheduled to open in October, however, the brewery setup and brewing process will not be ready until November. The brewery will offer guest beers, wine, and spirits, as well as two Myriad beers offered year round. The rest of the taps will rotate as seasonal and specialty beers so there will always be something new to try.

As far as food goes, Myriad will offer a few snacks. The owners also plan to schedule food trucks on some evenings during normal business hours. Guests are also welcome to bring in food or have something delivered.

Now we can start counting down the days until October!
