My Guilty Pleasure: Katy Perry

Alright, everyone who knows me will tell you that I have a thing for music. Your response: "no really, you work at a radio station, I hope you have a thing for music." My passion infatuation with music started at an early age whenever I witnessed my first concert, Sawyer Brown live at a local 4H Fair. Now Sawyer Brown is a country musician who had a few hits in his day ("Some Girls Do" comes to find) however he is no Katy Perry.

So, what does Sawyer Brown have to do with the California Gurl? Well, not too much; he just got me started with music. Through the years I've dabbled in my fair of Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz, Funk, Rock, Metal and Pop. I even like a little classical every now and then; let's face it, Mozart was the man.  As you can imagine I have my favorites from all of those wide ranging genres of music. Teenage Dream is nominated in the "Best Pop Vocal Album" category and California Gurlz in the "Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals" category. Now, I've never been a huge fan of her videos but at least her songs will get your head noddin'. That reason right there is why, right now, she is my guilty pleasure.
