I know it can get tiresome to hear about, but fitness is something that I've worked very hard to bring into my everyday life.  It was so hard at first, I even wrote this blog to tell you all about my weight loss journey. In January I set out to lose 70lbs, and though I still have 30 more to go, here's my progress so far!

I almost didn't post this, because I know seeing someone post about fitness all the time can get annoying, and I don't want to become one of those annoying people, but when I read the comments on my last blog about how many people have been in the same spot as me, I figure if this helps one person believe that they too can do it, then why shouldn't I post about it? It's become a huge part of my life.

It started out strictly superficial, I wanted to lost weight so I could look better.  But it ended up turning into wanting to make this a lasting lifestyle.  I slip up every now and then (I mean I did have Hacienda for lunch....) but I try not to slip up too often. I plan ahead, bring my lunch to work, and things like that to help prevent slip ups as much as possible. But it's hard, and slip ups happen, and as long as you get right back on it, you'll be fine. I try to remind myself of that instead of going on a guilt trip every time I have a cheat meal.

Anyways since it is #TransformationTuesday I thought I'd share my latest transformation pic with you.  As of Friday, i'm officially down 42lbs!

Here's October 2014 VS June 2015

And here's January 2015 VS June 2015. The picture on the left is one I took and was completely embarassed by, but I kept it to use as motivation to keep myself going.  And I'm glad I did, because it's really helped me to realize how far I've truly come.

On my last blog I did in April about weight loss, I got a TON of feedback, and nice comments, and people asking me how I've lost weight.  It's been good old fashioned exercise and eating healthy.  I've tried all the crash diets in the book, they don't work.  They may work for a little bit, but they don't last.  It's a total lifestyle change, which sounds scary, but by just taking it one day at a time it hasn't been nearly as daunting as you'd think.
