Melissa Awesome’s First Painting!

It's no secret that I'm very uncoordinated and can't draw to save my life so I've never even attempting painting something pretty because, well I know myself and it won't turn out very well.  But with the right teacher I completed my first ever painting.One  of my best friends, Lacey is an amazing painter she is so talented and I've always been so jealous of her skills.  Our friend Leda has also always wanted to learn to paint so the three of us got together last night for a painting "class."  Leda definitely has a more natural talent for painting then I do, but after 3 hours of painting, and advice (and some fixing of problem areas) from Lacey, we were both very proud of our new pieces of art to hang up at home!

Mine is the sugar skull, I'm such a fan of weird crap like that it's ridiculous so I did a sugar skull with spider webs, Leda did the gorgeous dream catcher!
