Melissa Awesome’s Favorite Ornament(s) [PICTURE]

So recently I shared with you my "back of the tree ornament."  It's the ornament that is sentimental, but let's be honest, it isn't winning a beauty contest anytime soon.  I thought since I've shared with you possibly my most hideous ornament, that I'd show you my favorite ornament!

I guess I should technically say "ornaments" because there are a few of them.  The reason these are my favorite is because they aren't something you can go out and buy at the store anymore.  They were my grandmas.  My grandma passed away when I was about 6, and somehow I got a hold of these ornaments.  I like them because they're legit vintage, old glass ornaments.

When my brother and I were kids my parents let each of us have our very own Christmas trees in our rooms, and we decorated them with ornaments that were rejects from our big Christmas tree, but somehow I found a box of these cool old school badboys and every year I would put them on my tree.

Sadly after many years of abuse and several falls onto hardwood floors I only have a few of these bad boys left.   So this year instead of putting them on my Christmas tree I am going to be putting them into a big glass thing (I don't know what to call it, I guess a vase?  Kind of like this, click here to get what I'm saying).  I think this way they'll be a little more secure.  And hopefully I won't break anymore.
