Melissa Awesome Can’t Find Boots That Fit!

No boot scootin' boogie for me. :( So the struggle was real this weekend when I decided to go boot shopping.  I've been working hard to try and lose weight and get healthy, and I finally am back in the jeans I haven't been in, for over a year.  My good old American Eagles.  So I thought since I was down 15lbs, and back in my old jeans (it's a little victory), I would reward myself with some new boots.  Boy that didn't go very well.

I went to 3 different stores and tried on, what I'm pretty sure was 750,000 pairs of boots.  NOT A ONE FIT OVER MY CALVES! Now look, I have 3 pairs of boots at home, all three are regular calf sized, and all 3 fit me fine.  I even tried on several pairs of WIDE calf and those didn't fit my calves (which really did wonders for my self esteem).

At work today I was talking to our DME Ashley, she had on some adorable Santana dude boots (I can't remember his name), and I was telling her about my struggle.  Her response was that this Santana dude makes boots to fit a wide range of calves and these would probably fit me.  NOPE.  It didn't work I tried on her boots and I couldn't get them all the way up.  And then after talking with her and a couple other people around the office they all concluded that I don't have abnormally large calves....so what's the deal?

Just to not damage my self esteem anymore than boot shopping this past weekend already did, let's go with since I've been working out so much my calf muscles must just be really strong and big.

So where can a girl with "muscly" calves get some stinkin' boots?!

I'm going to start my own boot line and it's going to be called "Fat Calves" and only boots that actually fit "wide" calves will be sold there, cause this is bananas.
