Meet the actor behind the new series of commercials promoting the Miller Brewing Company's new beer, "Miller Fortune".

The new product line is aimed at attracting the craft beer crowd with a taste that I describe as somewhere between a lager and an ale. The  commercials feature the familiar actor encouraging bar patrons (usually male) to take a chance and do something they may not ordinarily do because "you never know where Fortune leads." But who is this guy?

"This guy" is actor Mark Strong. A 50-year-old, London, England native who boasts a long list of credits on his IMDB profile including the role of villain Lord Blackwood in the 2009 film Sherlock Holmes starring Robert Downey Jr. He also played the role of Hani in the 2008 thriller, Body of Lies starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Russell Crowe, along with roles in the Ryan Reynolds-led Green Latern, the remake of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and Zero Dark Thirty.

Strong also starred as Frank Agnew in the AMC original series, Low Winter Sun, the same role he played in the TV movie version in 2006 which aired on the BBC in England.

His new role as, let's say, "The Miller Fortune Guy" should keep Mark on our televisions for a long time to come.
