Ok, Rocky doesn't "Actually" read, but he is part of a program that helps children learn to read. At Healing Reigns in Corydon, KY, they offer Equine-Assisted learning and Therapeutic Riding programs. They are always recruiting volunteers, ans sponsors for the school programs. Find out more HERE

Therapeutic Riding:  A  mounted, traditional riding disciplines or adaptive riding activities conducted by a certified instructor in private or group lessons. Activities are designed to meet each participant’s needs and may focus on fine/gross motor skills development, balance, strength or coordination

Therapeutic Horsemanship: An un-mounted method of activities for students that may be physically limited for riding or are afraid of riding.
