Mayor Winnecke Announces Plans for Lilly King Celebration September 24th [VIDEO]

After weeks of speculation and input from several members of the community, Mayor Lloyd Winnecke announced the finalized plan for a celebration to honor Evansville native and Olympic gold medalist, Lilly King, during a press conference Tuesday morning at Bosse Field.

Flanked by Jeremy Evans from the Dream Center, Evansville Power Yoga owner, Mark Goltiao, and Lilly's father, Mark, among others, the Mayor declared a tweak to the original plans for the upcoming 7th Inning Stretch free yoga event already scheduled for the morning of Saturday, September 24th at Bosse Field.

The event is free and open to the public. The addition of Lilly King no doubt promises the turnout will be huge.
