One of the most unique 5-K runs you'll ever see is coming to Evansville, bringing with it an opportunity to get in a solid workout while having a blast at the same time!

The new year means renewed resolutions to get healthier, which means a better diet, and of course exercise. But weights are heavy, and not fun. However, the Insane Inflatable 5-K is! Taking place at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Fairgrounds on July 27th, the course breaks up the monotony of a standard 5-K with huge inflatable obstacles such as mazes, slides, tunnels, and more!

For me the idea of running five kilometers (3.1 miles) just for the sake of saying I ran five kilometers is pointless. However, I'm totally on board with this version. Anytime my family and I go to one of the local inflatable playgrounds, I'm just as sweaty and exhausted as my 10 and 8-year-old are by the time we're done.
