That's right, the "Girls Gone Wild" guy is taking on Madonna...  But why?

Here's the story:  Madonna had a song called "Girls Gone Wild," set as the second single from her MDNA album.  Joe Francis felt it was infringing on his creepy, skanky, psuedo-porno video line of the same name.

 

Francis' legal team sent Madonna's record label legal letters threatening to sue if the song came out with that title.  To my surprise, while the content of the song remained in tact, the title of the song was changed...  To "Girl Gone Wild."

 

Apparently Joe Francis was not satisfied with the slight alteration (only changing the plural form of "Girls" to "Girl").  Neither Madonna nor her team have commented on the newest threats, but the single has been released officially under the name "Girl Gone Wild."  You can hear the audio below:
