Following their grand opening on Oct. 6, my boyfriend and I decided to see what Bishops Cut/Color was all about.

Like I mentioned in my previous article, Bishops has a really cool atmosphere. Although I had already experienced the vibe, my boyfriend hadn't. Now, he's not a man of many words, but he cracked a smile when we walked in. I think it was safe to assume he was diggin' the vibe as well.

I had my niece with me and was worried she'd get stir crazy waiting, but turns out she didn't even have time to be antsy. The whole process took less than 20 minutes! You can't beat that. Plus, they had Halloween movies playing on the TV and all the hairdressers were in costume, which my niece LOVED. She especially loved the girl dressed up as Maleficient.

We had a free coupon from the soft opening, so that was a double bonus. But, even without a coupon, the cut would've only cost $19. That's a cheap haircut, in my opinion.

Anyway, my boyfriend did his usual shorter-on-the-sides-longer-on-the-top look, and Wesley went to work from there. He chose not to grab a beer since we had my niece with us, so that's respectable...but he totally would've in a different circumstance.

*Side note: Wesley doesn't always look like a vampire. I do appreciate her letting me snap some pictures of her in costume, though.

The final result - A SMILE! Kent was totally feelin' his new du and said he liked it better than any of his previous haircuts. I think it's safe to say we will  be heading back to Bishops for his next trim!

Bishops is located at 6401 E Lloyd Expressway.
