Luke Cage – The Weekend Binge

Marvel's latest Netflix outing Luke Cage is finally out today!

LUKE CAGE (1 SEASON, NETFLIX)

OK, I'm going to be honest: I haven't watched a single episode of Luke Cage yet. As I type this, I am anxiously awaiting the clock to strike that oh-so-magical quitting time so I can go home and slip into a Luke Cage binge. If you are a fan of Marvel's other Netflix outings such as Jessica Jones or Daredevil, you have a pretty good idea that the show is gonna be gritty and it's going to be great.

Luke Cage gets his own show after appearing on Jessica Jones. He really helped take that show to a different level and his relationship with Jessica really made that show click. This show takes place a few months after the conclusion of Jessica Jones. The cool thing about Luke Cage is that he doesn't have a secret identity. He's bulletproof and fights without a costume or alias.

If the trailers are anything to be believed, this is going to be a great way to spend 13 hours this weekend. Get to watching!
