It's Ella in ELLE!

Lorde (aka Ella Yelich-O'Connor) covers ELLE magazine's October 2014 issue, and she is looking seriously flawless. We can't get over that flowing mane or her piercing blue eyes, but most of all, we love how natural and just how uniquely 'Lorde' she looks.

While the issue won't be on stands nationwide until Sept. 26, the mag revealed some of tidbits from their cover story on the 17-year-old Kiwi singer. Check out the five things we learned from Lorde's ELLE interview below.

1. She doesn't let anyone act condescending towards her.

“A lot of times when people meet me, they’ll definitely try to make me feel young or inexperienced. Like, ‘It’s all taken care of,'" she explained. "Teenagers are such a discerning group of people. They’ll immediately sniff out anything that feels contrived. … People know that if you talk down to me, I will roll my eyes or whatever." Tell 'em, girl!

2. And she's kind of developed a self-proclaimed "fearsome reputation."

"I’m, like, constantly scanning myself to see if I’m some corporate executive version of a teenager," she continued about holding her own in the music business. "I’ve developed something of a fearsome reputation."

3. She knows how to market herself.

"It’s something people my age have grown up with. You can go on the Tumblr of any young person in the world and see people marketing themselves," she explained. "Everyone my age is like that now. We’re all hyperaware of how we’re being seen."

4. She's inspired fans to speak up for themselves.

"People have told me that I’ve helped them feel confident, like they can say things they want to say," she said proudly. "That’s so amazing that I can make someone feel like that."

5. She knows how to work with people of all ages -- while still being a teenager herself.

"The circle of people I work with all the time is huge and spans continents, and you have to be quite conscientious," she revealed. "So it’s, like, learning not to hurt people’s feelings. Obviously, I am hanging out with more people now who are not teenage; I’m in different circles. But I am a teenager," she pointed out. "My brain is, like, a certain age. Everyone is talking about you. You have to learn not to care as much."
