Logan’s Promise Free Cab Rides on New Year’s Eve

For most people, ringing in the new year goes hand and hand with tipping back a few "adult beverages," and Logan's Promise wants to make sure everyone has a great time, and more importantly, gets home safely when the party is over.

Charles Brown, founder of Logan's Promise stopped by the studio on Thursday to announce their partnership with Yellow Cab of Evansville to offer free cab rides home for those who shouldn't be behind the wheel at the end of their New Year's festivities.

The cost of the rides will be covered within Evansville city limits. If your home is outside those limits, your cab driver will still take you all the way home, however you'll be on the hook for whatever the cost may be once you get in the county.

It should also be noted the free ride offer is only for those ready to call it a night and want to go home to sleep it off. If you're wanting to use the service to bounce from bar to bar, you'll have to cover that cost out of your own pocket.
