Local Rummage Sale To Benefit BULLIE Nation

Everyone likes a good rummage sale! And who wouldn't love a rummage sale that will benefit a local animal rescue?

B.U.L.L.I.E. (Bringing an Understanding of Love, Loyalty, Intelligence, and Equality) Nation is an animal rescue here in Evansville that works to find forever homes. BULLIE Nation is a non-profit, all volunteer-based, no-kill organization. They focus on finding responsible, loving, and permanent homes for abandoned, neglected, surrendered, and/or abused dogs in and around Vanderburgh County. They do concentrate on the “bully” breeds, they do not discriminate against a dog in need based on the dog’s breed, age, or health, believing that all dogs deserve a second chance.

They recently found themselves battling an outbreak of Parvo (parvovirus is a disease that often proves to be fatal) in several litters of puppies.GOOD NEWS: They managed to treat all of the puppies. BAD NEWS: BULLIE Nation exhausted most all of their financial resources to do it, but YOU can help!!

BULLIE Nation is hosting a rummage sale this Saturday, April 7th from 7am - 1pm at Groomingdale's Pet Spa in Newburgh (VIEW MAP) Even if you aren't in the mood to shop, you can still make a difference! They are looking for donated items for the rummage sale as well. It IS Spring cleaning time anyway! How much stuff do you have around the house that you just never use any more? You can donate those items and help these animals. BULLIE Nation will even pick up your donations from you if you're busy!
