Lion In Zoo Tries To Eat Baby Through Glass [VIDEO]

I ran across this on Facebook, and I have to tell you I am disturbed by this video of a captive zoo lion trying to eat a small child through the protective glass.

Is it just me or is this completely irresponsible & disturbing? The woman who is taking the video of her child seems to find it funny that the lioness apparently thinks the child is a newborn zebra. Not only is the lion pawing at the glass, but also trying to bite through it. All the while mom is laughing telling the little guy to look at the 'kitty." What would this woman have done if the glass would have given way?

What do you think? Is the woman up for "Worst Mom in the World" or am I just being too critical?
