After being the the rap game for almost 20 years (yes, it's been THAT long), Lil Wayne announced on Twitter Saturday that he's RETIRING from the music biz! The news comes after Miami Police respond to a call about a shooting at Wayne's home, which turned out to be a hoax.

Early Saturday morning, Lil' Wayne sent out the follow tweets:

Wayne has also been involved in a length and arduous legal battle with Cash Money CEO, Birdman to the tune of $51 million that Tunechi claims Birdman owes him among other issues. Lil' Wayne "adoptive" dad was seen and recorded disrupting one of Wayne's shows by shouting obscenities and even throwing a half-empty water bottle at him.

Lil' Wayne's last album "Free Weezy" was release in 2015, and the long awaited "Tha Carter V" album has yet to be scheduled for release.

Do YOU think Weezy should retire? Leave you answers in the comment box.
